Diego Tejada Evans
Chief Revenue Officer
Diego Tejada Evans is Chief Revenue Officer at ENODA, and a key member of the senior management team. Diego drives growth for the company via various commercial relationships throughout the energy ecosystem, and specifically, networks. Diego leads the step-phase process for utilities to discover and adopt ENODA’s energy platform on their grids. Furthermore, he has been instrumental in securing device trials with select European and US partners.
Diego is experienced in the origination and evaluation of positive-impact ventures, international negotiations, business development, and the maturation of capital-intensive projects. He has led the business development of city-scale renewable heat projects, and directed a number of front-end integrated studies for oil and gas treatment plants, and critical infrastructure systems.
Additionally, Diego has extensive experience advising deep-tech Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage (CCUS), and circular economy startups, screening and analysing decarbonisation options for heavy fuel power plants in Africa.
Prior to joining ENODA, Diego held leadership positions as Energy Transition Executive Manager for Pan American Energy, Head of Business Development for Innargi (AP Moller Maersk’s geothermal company), and Managing Director for Maersk Oil’s subsidiaries in Algeria and Brazil. He previously conducted integrated development studies for TotalEnergies’ projects in South America, Europe and the Middle East.
Notable accomplishments include initiating Maersk's geothermal business expansion into Poland and Germany, fostering innovative partnerships with Algeria's National Oil Company, the divestment of assets in Brazil, and scouting and valuation of positive impact opportunities for AP Moller Holding and AP Moller Capital.
During his time at Total Energies, Diego evaluated first-of-its-kind deployments of advanced technologies in conceptual development studies, including subsea in-line separators, and subsea compressors, for development in Angola and the West of Shetlands area of the UK.
Having worked and lived in Argentina, Brazil, France, the UK, Denmark, Algeria, the UAE and Spain, Diego has proven adeptness in communication and stakeholder engagement in multicultural environments, effectively liaising with governmental authorities and strategic business partners.
In the mid-nineties, Diego ran the consulting section of the Buenos Aires’ Institute of Technology (ITBA), commercialising applied technology products. Following this, he co-founded an IT company dedicated to the automatic development of catalogues for ERP and e-commerce systems.
Diego was a finance and entrepreneurship professor at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) from where he previously graduated as Petroleum Engineer.
